Anyways, Evelyn's appointment/EEG two weeks ago was positive. While the seizures are not totally gone, the random activity was drastically decreased. The drug she was taking is only a short term deal, so we had to switch to a new drug that Evelyn will be on for the long term. What exactly long term means at this point we're not sure. Probably a year or less but it mostly depends how it works and how Evie responds to it. Kristen and I are very positive and so far the results have been great. Miss Evie is sleeping and resting better than maybe she ever has. And thru it all she's been a champion. Rarely crying or making a fuss. Instead, she seems to have decided to face all her challenges with laughs and smiles.

It's amazing how tough and inspiring little babies can be as they face huge challenges. Glad to hear Evie seems to be sleeping better - hope you guys are too! Adam mentioned he ran into John at the Northwestern game and you were able to catch up a bit. Just wanted to let you know we've been thinking about your family. Enjoy the holidays with your little one!
