Sound Indeed

Today was activation day one - Evelyn's first day in the hearing world! We didn't have any expectations walking in, in fact, our doctors and specialists told us that most babies do not have a reaction right away as sound is something to be learned over time, but to our surprise and delight, Evie acknowledged and enjoyed hearing almost immediately! She has literally been giggling all day and it is the sweetest sound ever. Truly blessed.

    This video has become my "go-to" happy thought, instant cup of cheer, and smile :) Evelyn is such a gift to the world! A child could not be more fortunate than to have the two of you as parents. I love you guys and think of you constantly. Thank you for sharing this WONDERFUL update!
